Planning your next adventure? Before you hit the road, tick off these must-do caravan prep tips to avoid hiccups and enjoy smooth travels:

✅ 1. Check tyres & pressures
Inspect for wear and set correct PSI for both your caravan & tow vehicle.

✅ 2. Confirm weights & load limits
Stay under your GVM, ATM & tow ball download limits. Weigh if in doubt!

✅ 3. Test lights & brakes
Make sure all indicators, brake lights, and electric brakes are fully operational.

✅ 4. Secure everything inside
Latches locked, drawers closed, fridge sealed—no one wants flying coffee mugs!

✅ 5. Battery & water check
Top up batteries, check solar input (if off-grid), fill fresh water tanks & empty waste tanks.

✅ 6. Double check hitch, chains & jockey wheel
Ensure everything is locked, clipped, and cranked securely before moving off.

✅ 7. Gas bottle & fire safety
Check gas lines, test smoke alarms, pack a working fire extinguisher.

✅ 8. Paperwork & essentials
License, registration, insurance, park bookings, and a few printed maps—just in case!
